Molly is an Pennsylvania native, who started performing professionally at thirteen years old at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, in The Snow Queen. Her nomination was for one of the Barrymore Award nominee for her role of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production Into the Woods. She reprised the role as she made her Broadway debut at fifteen with Into the Woods, on Broadway. The show was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly also performed as a character in Fiddler on the Roof, the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a member of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. in Religious Studies. When she was in the university, Molly made her acting debut with Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly was able to begin her professional career after graduation with Off-Broadway productions including End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly was a major part in a variety of regional productions including the The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008 at Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008. She also appeared in Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she portrayed Anne. Molly was a part of several regional productions, including The Diary of Anne Frank in Westport Country Playhouse's performance in the year 2010. In this play she played the teenager daughter Ali.
