
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28, 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga is her worldwide nickname. Her birthplace was in Manhattan (New York), United States. Cynthia Louise Bissett was her mother and vice-president of mobile operator Verizon. Her father was Joseph Anthony Germanotta, Jr., a businessman. She was raised in Manhattan's exclusive Upper East Side with a Catholic family. Her parents put her in the Convent of the Sacred Heart. It is a Catholic and elite school. When she was a kid she was extremely passionate about music. She learned to play the piano at age three, and composed her first song when she was thirteen. She sang at open mic nights. Her favorite singers were Queen, Michael Jackson, Madonna as well as David Bowie. Upon completion of the high school level, she enrolled in New York University's Tisch School of Art to learn about music. However, she didn't complete her studies. She decided to begin her musical career. Musical beginnings She began her career by playing tunes that were melodious on piano in clubs and small bars in New York. She co-produced and wrote her first show called Boys, Boys Boys. The production didn't go well. After feeling a little devastated after the show, she went back to her family's home to start performing in New York clubs in burlesque and avantgarde dance. The life she lived was full of alcohol and wild parties at that point. In 2007 she began working together with Lady Starlight, they began to play in venues in downtown New York. They performed at the American music festival, Lollapalooza. The rest of her life was centered around music. Then, she was able to convince Sony / ATV to publish her single. Britney Spears was a big fan of her songs, and she used her writing abilities. She also served as Interscope's composer for New Kids on the Block and Fergie. While doing this, Stefani was performing on the Lower East Side with cover bands like Mackin Pulsifer and SGBand.
